三十九级台阶

　　音乐厅中传来枪声，观众们一片惊慌。一位外国女子（露西•曼娜海姆饰）询问理查德•汉内（罗伯特•多纳特饰）是否可以在他家中过夜。次日该女子在被杀之前告诉理查德必须阻止间谍组织“三十九级台阶”将国家机密偷偷送出英国。汉内为了证明自己并不是杀人凶手无奈前往苏格兰高地寻找线索，在火车上他寻求一位叫做帕梅拉（玛德琳•卡罗尔饰）的金发年轻女子帮助，但她却马上向警察告发了他。他找到了“三十九级台阶”的领导人乔丹教授，但随即被陷害入狱。侥幸逃脱后又由于帕梅拉的告发被两位伪装成便衣警察的人带走，并且他们还把帕梅拉和他铐在了一起。于是两人携手逃脱了出来并取得了互相的信任，然后他们再次回到音乐厅，汉内看到了上次就见过的表演。他向号称可以回答任何问题的“记忆先生”（怀特•沃森饰）提问：“什么是三十九级台阶“，于是……　　希区柯克曾说“记忆先生“是他最喜欢的角色之一，这个角色建立在一个名叫达塔斯的真人基础上，他自己小时候在伦敦看过他的表演。

换皮

　　年轻漂亮的凯拉得了一种奇怪的疾病，她的皮肤开始老化，干裂和瓦解。当她发现她可以用别人的皮肤来替代自己的皮肤时，她必须做出选择，看着自己的躯体枯萎死亡，还是屈服于诱惑，不管代价如何。

　　改编自1930年代英国真实事件，一位牧师莱纳斯（约翰·赫夫南 饰）被教会任命为代理牧师，他带着妻子玛丽安（杰西卡·布朗·芬德利 饰）与女儿小爱搬进一座神秘庄园。　　但在他们入住这间屋子不久后，奇怪事情接二连三发生，除了在半夜会听见呢喃声，还会看见陌生的修道士身影，女儿小爱的行为也越来越陌生，随着被骚扰的次数越来越多，莱纳斯和玛丽安不得不寻求著名的捉鬼专家哈利（西恩·哈里斯 饰）帮忙。　　他们必须一起揭开真相，找出这栋房子的超自然力量还有它可怕且惊人的过去……

等待方舟

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

　　故事发生在位于伊利诺斯州的哈登菲尔德小镇。臭名昭著的杀人狂迈克尔（泰勒·梅恩 Tyler Mane 饰）终于倒在了少女劳利（丝柯·泰勒-考普顿 Scout Taylor-Compton 饰）的枪下，然而之后他的尸体却神秘的消失了，与此同时，在医院里，出现了一个身份诡异而又神秘的病人，又一场血腥的杀戮即将拉开序幕。　　幸运的劳利再一次的从迈克尔的屠刀下死里逃生，可是，巨大的阴影始终笼罩在她的周围，因为她知道，迈克尔一天不死，就总会再度回到她的身边。一晃眼一年过去，万圣节又要来了，与此同时将要举办的，是死难者的纪念会。劳利能够感觉到，一双熟悉的眼睛正在默默的注视着她。

黑心鬼

　　黑心鬼（午马 饰）原是百年前的善长人翁，好事做尽，却令田地善恶不平衡，故被罚在阳间害九名贪心之人后方可投胎；陈康泰（陈友 饰）误放出尿壶中的黑心鬼，被赠予三个愿望，试验其是否贪心之人。康泰之弟星辰（莫少聪 饰）替兄顶罪而被解雇，寄居兄长家中，被恶嫂梅赛花（梅艳芳 饰）逼做男佣，因而邂逅女鬼梅兰花（梅艳芳 饰），另一方面，黑心鬼限期将至，决定完成康泰最后愿望后便取其性命，康泰能否度过此劫……
