阿格涅丝卡·霍兰凭借这部迄今为止最具野心的作品达成了导演生涯的巅峰,她呈现了一部关于20世纪捷克标志性作家弗朗茨·卡夫卡的传记片。影片以万花筒般的拼贴手法构建而成,追随卡夫卡留下的足迹——从19世纪的布拉格出发,直至他在维也纳辞世,时间跨度涵盖第一次世界大战及之后。《弗朗茨》一片将为观众提供一个独特的视角,一窥这位文学巨匠背后的人生轨迹。
该剧主要讲述了古代传奇女侠李四娘的一段经历。挥剑断水,水更流,血溅四方,收刀看山,山在天,玉女情仇。 明嘉历年间,从长白山到广东参加武林大会的武林顶尖高手敖龙带着师弟王虎,在客栈轻易击败“山西五虎”,得到暗中观看的客栈老板娘李四娘的亲腻,敖龙经不起媚香软骨、自投罗网的与李四娘一夜快活风流......次日,敖龙带领徒儿到玉女山庄找到庄主杨夫人报两年前的 之仇,一翻惊心动魄的打斗后,最后师弟王虎感觉事有蹊跷,即提出在武林大会中解决两家的仇怨。 武林大会在盟主齐大侠的主持下进行,敖龙此时并没有在大会上提出与杨夫人的仇怨,使杨夫人顿感诧异。而有两个为家中鸡鸭偷抢的人来到武林大会要求解决,齐大侠顿时感到杀机重重一场武林浩劫可能即将到来。夜间晚宴,果然有人提出重选新盟主,武林群雄力推齐大侠连任,只有敖龙反对,导致所有人不欢而散,群雄聚宴,酒后的李四娘不惜肌肤相亲、百般挑逗引诱少林大师,让大师神魂颠倒......此举恰被一道姑瞅到,顿然芳心荡漾、意乱魂迷,大胆飞纸传情约大师林中风流......当晚,敖龙与李四娘合谋用计在客栈将齐大侠害死,抢走“秘籍”,并嫁祸杨夫人。师弟王虎出于仁义,决心帮助杨夫人。杨夫人的老公杨充见王虎与自己老婆接角频,顿起疑心,暗中监视。恰恰王虎误入闰房撞见在洗浴中的杨夫人......被杨充当场遇到,杨充急火冲天,一气之下挟女儿愤然离开山庄,那知半路被走火入魔的敖龙擒住。一场郊外的血腥混战,让本不平静的江湖再掀风云,武林的浩劫终于爆发了.........
本片改编自足立绅同名小说,电影版是包括未公开场景的导演剪辑版本。年过40却依然不受欢迎的编剧、没有收入的废柴丈夫·柳田豪太(风间俊介 饰),与吃软饭一样的丈夫和儿子一起维持生活、拒绝丈夫的邀请、还破口大骂的可怕妻子·柳田千花(MEGUMI 饰),两人之间展开了又笑又哭的夫妇故事。
Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
