　　程家少爷程亦鹏（范冬雨 饰）痴迷武术，程父试图用婚姻约束其行为，程亦鹏遂决定远上少林做俗家弟子，如此既可躲避习武力强的未婚妻小翠，又能学习少林功夫，在与心上人小晴（何晴 饰）话别后，亦鹏奔赴少林。然而师父恒德（赵小锐 饰）日日只是让一班俗家弟子做苦工，不肯教授少林功夫，师兄弟们虽不满却也无可奈何，加之小晴在少林附近落脚，程亦鹏和师兄弟们学着用各种方法苦中作乐。曾经被逐出少林的一游侠在遍访名师后，意欲挑战少林，以报当年未学到武功之恨，程亦鹏等俗家弟子被游侠多次殴打，恒德欲同游侠较量反被方丈关入藏经阁。程亦鹏经过苦工打熬，终有习武资格，在恒德指点下向游侠一雪前耻……

好像一切都很糟糕

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
