风俗学园祭

　　陈薇（尹馨 饰）带着女儿（林采洁 饰）为躲避家暴的丈夫住进有自杀胜地之称的蝴蝶大厦后怪事频传。管理员梁伯（冯淬帆 饰）和顶楼的庙公山叔（蔡振南 饰）不断提醒她这一层楼不太干净，如果有能力还是尽快搬走，但是经济拮据的她暂时只能栖身于此。各种三教九流的邻居、杂货铺有阴阳眼的自闭症男孩阿弟（白润音 饰），还有那间被再三交代禁止靠近的613号房，一切都令陈薇感到诡异莫名。外表阳光的代班管理员小梁（曹佑宁 饰）对独立坚强的陈薇照顾有加，经常借故上门帮忙维修家电，陈薇女儿看到他来也会难得露出微笑。正值鬼门开时，蝴蝶大厦内意外频传，甚至发生许多灵异事件，但老住户们似乎已经习以为常。陈薇原本是想带女儿逃离丈夫，不料却将自己卷入更大危机之中...

　　太子在上朝时，建议由熊廷弼将军去攻金兵。万历在郑贵妃面前吐了血，太医说活不过一个月。万历心疼郑贵妃说，我要让你当皇后，我不让常洵当皇帝是因为，我想让他享清福，过平民生活，我10年不理朝政，就是为了这种生活，而郑贵妃心里却很生气。她不让大臣和皇太子觐见。三皇子要去攻打匈奴，而郑贵妃却说，要让常洵留京，否则太子会继位后杀他。三皇子领一万精兵，郑贵妃便要挟崔文生公公，把章印在假圣旨上，让其子留京。王安公公为保护传国玉玺，假意装疯。而其义子是郑贵妃的人，一心要拿玉玺，一夜，王安见他上吊，便将玉玺藏在花瓶里，谁知他诈死，拿走了玉玺。太子与大臣谈话，梅儿见苗头不对，便放出芊芊，芊芊与桦儿相认，痛哭不止。兰心和碧瑶去找王庭家的女眷，希望能救太子。万历夜里睡觉，要喝水，可是郑贵妃却去拿玉玺，万历驾崩了。太子有要事要进宫，而三皇子不让，芊芊趁机出来，三皇子同意了，还要跟芊芊远走高飞。进宫之后，知道皇帝驾崩，郑贵妃出八雄。而金碧瑶以江南绣娘的名义进宫，便让女眷与八雄斗。梅儿在让朱由校习武，郑贵妃派人活捉太子之子，梅儿灵敏聪慧，救了由校一命。王安去找总教头派御林军救驾，熊廷弼将军也回来了。芊芊为救太子，牺牲了。三皇子交出了令牌，太子答应芊芊封她为福亲王妃，芊芊便咽气了。太子继位，号泰昌，让民众减税，让壮士出征，喝了三大碗。封上官兰心为敬贤妃，封金碧瑶为英德妃，李梅儿为李选侍。

　　龙剑北因为要筹钱救自己病重的妹妹，在一次机缘巧合之下，接触到神秘组织黑羽会，黑羽会不断在做人体实验，企图造出拥有超能力的改造人。为了钱，龙剑北接受超能力改造。由于控制不了体内的超能力，龙剑北拜了一位老者为师，学习驾驭超能力，学会了如来神掌，并结识了一位武林中的名门正派，二人一同上路，展开了各种紧张刺激的冒险……

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
