　　19岁商务专业大学生Trina目睹了自己辅导过的女生Jade在车库被撞死，但警方认为是一起意外事件。为了支付大学费用，Trina开发了一个独特的约会APP软件UPFRONT。在UPFRONT取得了巨大的成功之后，Trina无意中得知自己的APP被一些女生滥用为卖淫中心。正在Trina与朋友、导师商量是否需要关闭网站或者报警时，发现其中一个做应召的女生在宿舍自杀。Trina在追查两个女生的死因的过程中，发现导师的老公竟然是Jade的常客。在准备和导师见面的过程中，发现导师被刺，最后的凶手竟然是疯狂爱上Jade的院长。最后在合作朋友的帮助下，将院长绳之以法。

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
