　　年轻的贡嘎和他的表弟巴特在一个废品场里意外发现了一个装满生锈十字架的手提箱。巴特灵机一动，决定将这些十字架改造成霓虹十字架，并逐户向第比利斯的居民推销。他们在城市郊区的漫游因此变成了一场寻找爱情与友情的冒险。

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　田七（张达明 饰）是个精人，常喝醉打妻子当归（蔡少芬 饰），当归痛定思痛发誓要对夫报复，刚巧城中富商罗汉果欲寻名医，当归于是谎称丈夫会医术，并且要用精棍子揍田七，他才会应允他人治医，罗汉果信以为真，不但将田七痛打一顿，并将其接入家中，于是一场啼笑皆非的闹剧开始了……
