查理是一间保险公司的高级职员，由于工作上压力和顾客需求，搵钱不择手段，出卖自己人格，只为达到目的争取营业额。同时查理坏事做尽,害怕被妻子发现.最后还是,查理的妻子宝莲因不满其处事方法及他的艳史传闻，决定离查而去，查理精神受刺激，对女人实行报复。
