奇谋妙计五福星

　　狱中5个素不相识的人成了好兄弟——五福星。茶壶（洪金宝 饰）、死气喉（吴耀汉 饰）、卷毛积（岑建勋 饰）、凡士林（秦祥林 饰）和鲁奇（冯淬帆 饰）五人皆因小偷小摸或跑龙套成了冤大头，他们决心出狱后重新做人，光明正大挣钱。五人同一天出狱了，出狱后他们合股成立了一间清洁公司 ，专门帮公司或家居进行清洁。　　一天，黑帮在交易制贩假炒的电版时，被当地一个愣警察撞见了。慌乱之下，他们将电版藏进了五福星的清洁车的清洁箱内。毫不知情的五福星就这样又无端卷入了江湖是非中：一方面，警察怀疑他们是黑帮同伙，在四处通缉他们；另一方面，黑帮也在追寻他们，想杀人灭口取回电版。五福星在进退两难的境地如何运用他们的奇谋妙计脱险？

　　影片围绕一个来自俄克拉荷马州的美国石油钻井平台钻工比尔(达蒙饰)展开。他不得不前往马赛，拜访他久未谋面却锒铛入狱的女儿(布雷斯林饰)，他的女儿坚称并没有犯下谋杀罪。面对语言的障碍、文化的差异，以及复杂的法律制度，比尔决意孤注一掷拯救他的女儿。而在这个过程中，他与一位当地的女性和她的小女儿建立了友谊，也开始了个人的探索之旅，并获得了更大的归属感。

　　与丈夫离婚后，Alice必须承担起单亲母亲的全部责任，照顾她全心全意爱着的儿子August，一个好奇的小男孩。他从小就对A、他的父亲和他自己的故事充满疑问。就连他的母亲也从未谈起过他的父亲，August15岁那年，神秘的故事开始一点一点地跟随他。他父亲生前的嘱托成为August从诺拉舞的秘密中发现恐怖的原因。在试图让他认识到自己的业力同时，Alice相信理性和正义。Alice竭尽全力拯救她所爱的儿子。但她越是反抗并带领August远离现实，诡异和奇怪的事件不断升级，直到August陷入危险。决定返回寻找过去的真相。August生命危在旦夕，当Lambam家的门打开时，里面的木桩从过去一直建到了现在，与她一起打开的是Lambam家的老管理员Cherd叔叔，他知道整个故事。业力和所欠的誓言已经开始要求偿还

　　底层捕快薛不疑（刘峰超 饰）因不谙世故遭同僚排挤，憋屈十年。一桩赈灾银盗窃案他沦为替罪羊。绝境中，他受老师黄士宁（淳于珊珊 饰）搭救，与师弟李震（袁福福 饰）再度合作，然而钱外有钱官外有官，他被迫成为高官手中的“犬牙”……在这黑暗世道，他是会选择做一只听话的鹰犬，还是挣脱这巨 手成为啄天之鹰？

等待方舟

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
