　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

　　《火箭人》（The Rocketeer）是迪士尼１９９１年推出的电影，故事题材是由 Dave Stevens 同名的图文小说改编而成。　　本片是发生在１９３０年代的好莱坞，有一个军方的秘密武器意外落在一位竞技表演飞行员 Cliff Secord 手中，他对此一推进器颇感惊奇， 最后他背上了这付怪东西、戴上面具，成了行侠仗义的『火箭人』，然而各方人马都想夺得这项秘密武器，尤其有一位好莱坞影坛的知名男演员 Neville Sinclair ，他其实是纳粹潜伏在好莱坞的情报份子，为了夺得火箭，他还挟持了 Cliff 的女友 Jenny Blake，火箭人 Cliff 于是展开他的救援行动。　　本片由《亲爱的我把孩子缩小了》、《野蛮游戏》、《侏罗纪公园３》以及《百胜天龙》影集的知名导演 Joe Johnston 所执导，他同时也是《星际大战》系列的特效大师。至于演员方面，男主角 Cliff 由 Bill Campbell 担任，女主角则是 Jennifer Connelly，至于片中那位大反派间谍演员，则是由曾演过００７的 Timothy Dalton 担任。　　本片配乐的是 James Horner ，原本原声带都已经绝版多年，但在前几年《铁达尼号》造成发烧的时候， James Horner 的作品又造成热潮，迪士尼旗下的好莱坞唱片于是再版发行了这张电影原声带，如今则又绝版了。

　　闯荡好莱坞失败的演员里根·皮尔斯为工作在去往路易斯安那州的一个小镇什里夫波特路上，被歹徒绑架至一个沼泽地附近的小屋，歹徒折磨并威胁他用推特账户发布并上传妥协博文，他改如何逃脱困境？

　　张清远死后兰心终日郁郁寡欢，太子误以为她还深爱张清远，嫉妒不已，故意亲近其她妃子来刺激和报复兰心。兰心本已对太子暗生情愫，见状却只能伤怀。 姚芊芊明白了四面楚歌的危险，为保腹中孩子，她四处笼络人心，颇见成效。 王恭妃查出了兰心和张清远的私情，盛怒之下将兰心打入冷宫。太子偷偷潜入冷宫和兰心相见，两人终于明白了对方的深情，情动之下有了一夜温存…… 后来，兰心被诊出怀有身孕，王恭妃却根本不相信这个孩子是太子的……
